BTW I have never been so nervous teeing off as I was this morning - there was a gallery of about 50 people that followed us for the whole freaking round! Pulled out driver off the first and was the only one to keep it in the fairway just short of the green - IBF and the other pro hooked it into the trees. It was a bloody enjoyable round and IBF was just awesome to play with - as down to earth as anyone i have met. Once the bloody nerves calm down, I played well but putted woefully - for some reason I could not "feel" the pace of line of the greens. Had 8 birdie putts and 5 off them I three putted!!!

    Awesome Nudgee,

It must have been a huge buzz. Hitting 8 GIR's isn't a bad result in front of all those people.. Well done.

    Default Wynnum Pro-Am - Monday 14th December

Pampling turned up and now he is sinking plenty of rums.

My guy had 6 under with his one and only bogey coming on the last, missing an easy putt.

Co-winner is Peter Shaw with 7 under. Congratulations.

    Default Wynnum Pro-Am - Monday 14th December

Bowdo was still there drinking beer when I left and his lovely wife was patiently waiting, although she may have been enjoying Gordon tallis's drunken stories. Pamps left some rums in the Wynnum fridges, but not many.

None mate, I was surprised at his gear (how old it was). He said Callaway were about to give him a new set of just about everything. He was struggling with driver as he had changed from x stiff and low loft to stiff and 9.5 loft. After three semi hooks, he started hitting the driver off the deck from the tee!! He said it was a good tip for those not wanting to hook driver off the tee! For the record I did not try it!
IBF putting stroke was just pure magic, so smooooooooth and made just about everything (tee to green was not as good).

He took a peak into my bag a few times and said he really liked the look of the legacy black irons.

He was happy to share many stories - it was a cracker of a round. I nailed quite a few shots and had the gallery clap a few times (not at my putting as it was woeful). It was good for the ego! Thx god I did not shank one!

They mentioned (about 100 times) that it is the biggest purse for a one day tournament in Australia.

yeah - I think it is about 55-60K, so it is a good cheque to take home.

It also shows how shit the other events are and why all our players are in Asia.

Ahhh Coxy the little Jack in the box. I still remember him as 15 year old kid at Pacific. Quite hyper and never shut up!!! Could always play though. He's all over FB this morning say how he won. Didn't mention the Co-win situation but.
    I'm back.
