Up there with one of the funniest things I’ve seen while playing.
Someone walking their dog was cutting through Mount Lofty Golf Course (Now known as Stirling Golf Club). First in group I was in had a long putt. Dog trots over green at the same time and ball hits the dog on the foot. Dog never broke stride and just kept going while we were all staring at each other stunned at what we just witnessed before breaking out in laughter.

Raking a bunker before a shot.

Mate went into bunker to get a rake and raked his foot prints (and others I gather) on the way out. Then went right to the other end of the bunker to play his shot. I asked him what he was doing raking the bunker? He didn't even seem to realise it was the same bunker or that he had done it. Put him on notice, but did not call a penalty. Think he wiped the hole in the end anyway.

If you arent improving your ball or stance but doing it 3 metres away because some previous person didnt rake it, why would this be a penalty?

Wasn’t the testing the surface rule/penalty for bunkers scraped during one of or the last rule up date?

You are allowed to take it in the interests of quick play, but not to test it.
