    Default Champs Injuries and Soreness

So how are we all feeling after the Champs? If you are like me, your body is not used to four rounds of golf over four days, plus driving range hitting.

    Are there many blisters/calluses? Injuries?

I had a few bits of pain or soreness here and there in places like my shoulder and hip during play. But right now everything feels super weary. The body is very tired.

My liver is still crying to mamma and my back is a little tender after pulling something in the bunker on 3 on Sunday. Otherwise in tip-top shape!

No injuries or soreness here. Playing those flat courses in carts is a snack. I am still catching up on sleep however.

    ditto.

I also have a sore lower back. Woke up with it Sunday morning and it's now a bit tight.

5 days golfing in a row is something i'm not used to

Like Chorn and Iain, being an elite afflete 5 games of golf is nothing.

I have a slight redness to a finger from opening a sandwich packet and Chorn confided in me he had a slightly burnt pallette from an overly hot meat pie.
    Cheers

Actually I did get a small scrape on my middle finger of my left hand that required a band aid as I was rubbing sweat into it at Redcliffe.

    Otherwise - no issues.

On Friday night I almost trod on the cat while holding my infant daughter and in avoiding it caused a strain down through my right butt cheek and into the top of my leg. Was feeling very proppy & ordinary by the end of Sat night. A couple of Nurofen later on Sunday morning and all was OK but things have been a little tight and below par since.

Sore right hip and both knees, got a big blister on my right ring finger on Saturday, made swinging the clubs quite painful on Sunday

My lower back was quite tender on Sunday morning, but I played through it and I've been fine since. The only lasting effect from the weekend is tiredness from listening to snoring 2 out of the 3 nights away.

Hurt my hand on the range before Saturdays round, and got a massive blister under the toe on my right foot - that burst on the 18th tee on sunday, which was superb timing

9 games of golf in a row. (Sat 7th to Sun 15th)

Walked and carried for 4 of those at Caloundra and Reddy.

Some blistering on feet (Footjoy Classics are exactly that.....Classics but hurt like shyte).

Shoulder is still having its revenge for the grind.
