OK, to avoid confusion in the other thread, while this discussion has some steam, lets get somewhere.
This was taken from the original thread, and slightly modified.
This is my suggested itinerary for 2010. Hire a big house in the South West for 2 nights, we all squeeze in there, beds are prizes for leaders.
Friday, March 26
Start the drive south.
Ryder Cup Day. 2 teams picked in the 2010 OzGolf draft by our captains SnuggieThePokerMan and iTree-golfguy.
27 holes while we are fresh.
TEE OFF 0800 at Kennedy Bay
Kennedy Bay, play 18 holes, custom pairs event as designed by JC.
Binningup, play 9 holes individual matchplay. Captains to seed matches.
Drive to accommodation for the night. Poker night/pizza etc.
Saturday, March 27
Individual comp begins.
I am going to suggest 2 days of 18 holes, to enable a bit more social time. It seemed like most people wanted to head home Sunday afternoon before it got late. If we have more time Saturday PM (after a slightly later tee off than this year- thankfully), the weekend might not go so fast.
Dunsborough Lakes, 18 holes stableford. BOOKED FOR 0800
Trip to the Bootleg Brewery? (they are open 12-6pm, so depends on what time we get there, might be good for beer + snacks, then onto somewhere else for dinner)
Sunday, March 28
Start drive back towards Perth.
Capel GC, 18 holes stableford. BOOKED FOR 0830
Late lunch at Joaquin's old mans. A BYO BBQ could work me thinks. We could grab some meat on the way.
Accommodation?
We have a house booked in Bunker Bay, overlooking the coast. Sleeps 10, and the rest can sleep on the floor, couches, roll outs etc.....
Dates?
March 26-28
Rough costings
All 3 days of golf would come in at the $110 mark for green fees. (Kennedy Bay @ guests rate $25, Binningup $10 (voucher), Capel $30 (voucher), DL $45)
Accommodation, budget $50 per punter for the 2 nights. House rental is $560 for the group plus some fees for cleaning etc. The more golfers, the cheaper it will be.
$1 skins all weekend, and an estimated $25 donation to the "prize pool" for novelties. Non Ozgolfers are eligible for novelties but not for overall prizes.
Thread for player list here

36 hole including some team events would go faster, and be easier, than 36 "normal" holes.

I would prefer Sunday not to drag out. 18 holes max for my vote on Sunday.
What's Dunsborough lakes like?

Cool.
I'm not a huge fan of 36 on Friday because we have the big drive. Just tossed out Dunsborough as a possible tie in with Busso for Saturday. Any better candidates to match up with Busso?

Make one of the Friday rounds an individual and then a team event at The Dunsborough Country Club, complete with sand greens!

Friday can easily be 27 holes.
I am totally happy with one trip around Binningup, but you are always tempted by the second loop.....

Wimps! Remember I have to take more steps than the average giant fweak.
Played 18 Huntingdale and 18 Keysborough last year while carrying my bag and then did a gig all on the same day when I was in Melbourne last year.

I agree with the Pygmy. There is far too much softness being displayed in this thread.

I'm nominating 69er to attend, he's schmoozing Bunbury for some work which could tie in nicely with the dates proposed

The more the merrier...we'll get him pissed Fri & Sat so when he turns up he'll look ragged, pissed and possibly slightly unable to focus on designing a hole...
...he'll end up with the 17th at The Cut !!!

yep you're on the right track Adlo.
the format sounds great, will be good to be able to have a few more "quiet" beers on satdy arvo and a bit of a bbq with 18 holes each day.
I think we should lock it in Eddy.

If we get a few people from over east playing, I'm thinking Kennedy Bay for 18 on the Friday. Give them the true WA experience. Would be a great venue for a team game of some sort.
The greens were rolling soooooo nice today. They actually roll and don't bounce.
Also, the fairways were greener than they have ever been. I think there's been some fertilizer spread in the last week or so.

In the words of Ice Cube, i'm down for whateva......
Great call JC, if we have Jarro/Henno/Mike/G69 lets play Kennedy Bay.
Slightly longer drive to Binningup for 9 holes, either high stakes skins or team event.
36 hole stableford comp in the SW over Sat/Sun, Busselton and Bunbury.
Best. Weekend. Ever.

Do you think the cut would let us play just 12 and 17.
12 cause it is pretty awesome and then 17 so they know what we are bitching about?
KB is a good shout for the boat people though.

Binningup is an hour from Kennedy, not bad at all. We can get 18 in there if we really need to...
I'm thinking Kennedy would be great for a Canadian Foresomes, I think it is. Both team members tee off, choose the better ball and then play ambrose from that point in.

I think the answer to how many times we go around Binningup can be answered closer to the date.
Canadian Foursomes sounds like a good event. Captains can use strategy to make good 2 man teams.

I am pretty sure it is "Foursomes".
But I don't want JC to give me any of that fat cat fancy lip wiggling.
