OK, to avoid confusion in the other thread, while this discussion has some steam, lets get somewhere.
This was taken from the original thread, and slightly modified.
This is my suggested itinerary for 2010. Hire a big house in the South West for 2 nights, we all squeeze in there, beds are prizes for leaders.
Friday, March 26
Start the drive south.
Ryder Cup Day. 2 teams picked in the 2010 OzGolf draft by our captains SnuggieThePokerMan and iTree-golfguy.
27 holes while we are fresh.
TEE OFF 0800 at Kennedy Bay
Kennedy Bay, play 18 holes, custom pairs event as designed by JC.
Binningup, play 9 holes individual matchplay. Captains to seed matches.
Drive to accommodation for the night. Poker night/pizza etc.
Saturday, March 27
Individual comp begins.
I am going to suggest 2 days of 18 holes, to enable a bit more social time. It seemed like most people wanted to head home Sunday afternoon before it got late. If we have more time Saturday PM (after a slightly later tee off than this year- thankfully), the weekend might not go so fast.
Dunsborough Lakes, 18 holes stableford. BOOKED FOR 0800
Trip to the Bootleg Brewery? (they are open 12-6pm, so depends on what time we get there, might be good for beer + snacks, then onto somewhere else for dinner)
Sunday, March 28
Start drive back towards Perth.
Capel GC, 18 holes stableford. BOOKED FOR 0830
Late lunch at Joaquin's old mans. A BYO BBQ could work me thinks. We could grab some meat on the way.
Accommodation?
We have a house booked in Bunker Bay, overlooking the coast. Sleeps 10, and the rest can sleep on the floor, couches, roll outs etc.....
Dates?
March 26-28
Rough costings
All 3 days of golf would come in at the $110 mark for green fees. (Kennedy Bay @ guests rate $25, Binningup $10 (voucher), Capel $30 (voucher), DL $45)
Accommodation, budget $50 per punter for the 2 nights. House rental is $560 for the group plus some fees for cleaning etc. The more golfers, the cheaper it will be.
$1 skins all weekend, and an estimated $25 donation to the "prize pool" for novelties. Non Ozgolfers are eligible for novelties but not for overall prizes.
Thread for player list here

Can't wait to see Tourfit on the first tee wearing a Maxibon shirt.
Does he have to wear it on the Friday and the Saturday?
Yes. I think he does.

Shouldn't have to wear it on the RC day !!! Only on the individual days.
Plus, if I wear it Fri AND Sat, then pull myself out of the mire of embarrasment and am not in last place Sunday, someone who has to wear it WILL NOT BE APPRECIATIVE !!! It was pretty skanky after 2 days...never mind 3.
The RC day is an addition and 'special'...should be Maxibon exempt due to the team nature of the event !!!

That would be hilarious. He is probably going to avoid the champs at all costs now.
No discussion or suggestions gents?

It is..... but when do you play it? Unless we play 36 on Friday, which I am more than happy to do.

If we have a house, lucky last should be able to wash the TourFunk out of the shirt on the Saturday evening if required. Shirt should be dry in 10 minutes late March.

More golf the better.

OK, doing a quick search for accommodation ideas.
What do people think of something like this?
Would be $700 for 2 nights, can sleep in beds 10 people, the rest in the living area. If we had 15 golfers it would be $46 for the weekend, 20 golfers would be $35. Cheap as bro.
Obviously there are more options, but just getting the feelers out there.....

Looks great...although there is plenty down there. That price would be good for 15-20...
Although, I'm thinking Susan would be mightily impressed and glad at "how many friends you have!!" Lunch before we head back to Perth on Sunday perhaps???
If we are staying Dunsborough/Yallingup way, gotta do The Bootleg Brewery on late Sat arvo. We can call in on the way back from Busso GC on the way to where we are staying.

Good call on the Bootleg.
No lunch on the way back home, unless numbers dwindle to 10-12 golfers or so. They do have a great entertaining area. Susan is nuts. Enough said.
Re: houses, I know there are absolute shitloads. Just trying to gauge peoples interest in staying in a big house vs. chalets/etc. I think a house is a) fun and b) has big areas for socialising/cards etc.

Is it extra for spew bags? Looks pretty sweet Adlo. What are we looking at for green fees on top of accom, grub etc?
72 holes over three days. I'll need to improve my golf fitness/stamina!
Is there any more of a tale to go with the maxibon shirt? How did it get picked as the losers guernsey?

Johnny Canuck received it as a freebie from his Mother-IL. I think she was serious. He obviously wanted to offload it and nominated it as the NAGA guernsey. A lot of other social groups will use a reflective vest/shirt as the NAGA.
Green fees:
Mandurah CC: $30 (with voucher from Golf Voucher book, should be cheaper Fridays)
Binningup: $15
Bunbury: $20 (playing with members-Adlo, Yoss)
Busso: $35 (full rate, I think we should be able to find some vouchers here too)
All for less than a rack rate game at The Cut!!

That's an awesome weekend...
$35-40 for accomodation
$100 for green fees for 4 rounds
Will need more though for skins, comp fees (should be able to get away with $25pp if there are 15-20 guys!!), ALCOHOL and food.
As for food suggestions...apart from going to The Bootleg Brewery, we could go to The Goose in Busso for a VERY nice meal. Not cheap, but at least it would make us seem a little more civilised than beer swilling, pizza eating ferals!! Unless of course that's how we all want it. Maybe that's the impression adlo's new appearance is trying to make !!!
NO CHILLI DOGS NEXT YEAR!!! Except for id, who surprisingly breezed through his #10, while the rest of us struggled on 6's, 7's and 8's. Zues had a REALLY hard time of it on 8, Mrs simmsy was sweating buckets on 6, Yoss has had enough said, even adlo said that 8 was WAY hotter than normal. I was marginally OK on 6, but got to the point when it just got too hot. And SnuggieThePokerMan was OK on 4 (with his chicken dog)...well who wouldn't have been??

Good man Bruce D, elevated to "the list"
Re: beds, we could always reserve them for the first to commit and pay for the weekend. Should get the money flying in thick and fast and separate the wheat from the chaff.

For sure, Mike and Henno have already shown interest.
The more the merrier, and with the cheap golf and accomodation over here, you can't go wrong.
Do you want to make "the list"?

On the "list"
Scarborough is in Perth, we are heading into golf & wine country in the south-west for this thing.
But if you make a week of it, you are very close to play Joondalup, and probably 45-50 mins from Kennedy Bay/Secret Harbour.

Get the Easties cash up front. Should subsidise our weekend nicely when they have to pull the pin
