Go lucky!
AndyP's avatar is looking just a little too smug for my liking.

If you go out to 5, you'll be a burglar. If you go well, it will be deemed a sneaky practice round. It looks bad on you either way.

12 doesn't look right for you either Andy. I always think of you as an 8-9 hcap.

Don't we think that of all players?
Reaching 9 once may have been a fluke, as I have shown since. I'm not giving that milestone back though.
I think I play alright for a runner. It's a little weird that I've got to the final in the year that golf is less of a priority than previous years.

Either 7 or 8 shots - you will win for sure. Too many shots to give up to someone who should be off 8 or 9?

Lucky isnt that long?
Honestly you dont often see two golfers play similar games that have vastly different handicaps, both have the temperment of Hogan, play within themselves like Zac Johnson, and have beaten classy opponents to get there.

Criticism doesn't bother me, as it means I am doing something and people are watching.

I asked the same question:

agreed. There was never any intention that the matchplay final be played at the champs, it is to be played 'by the champs'.
its just that the first matchplay the two chumps were too useless to organise playing anywhere else, and almost the rest followed.
the champs is simply a viable alternative as most notable ozgolfers play in it.

The old saying - "it is not how long it is how many"

At least it allows AndyP to have the matchplay done and dusted and then can focus on the champs.
