Default How Will You Play The 10th Hole At Pelican Waters?

I thought I would get this going considering the Champs are so close.
We are off the 10th, which is a 465m par 5 (from the blues) and it looks like a fairly straightforward opening hole. No big clumps a bloody bamboo to worry about this year There looks to be some short, but very tricky holes so I can see the hybrids getting a good workout.
The back nine looks a lot tighter than the front so if your long game is off it could be a long weekend
Feel free to add more holes and give your thoughts and tactics.

4 iron landed just next to the pin and rolled to back of green

hmmm ok then. Bunt first one off the tee into the piss. Third into the trees on the right, fourth out sideways into the pot, five into the next pot,six into the next pot, seventh to 150 out, eighth will be a sublime 6 iron to 1 foot and then three putts for a 11. Anything less and i will be happy. Dont want to set my sights to high

The fairway is wide and pretty easy to hit, but stray off the short stuff and the lateral hazard rough is very punishing, as it is on all of the holes at Pelican. Last year I found a "nest" of about a dozen balls in one of the reedy bushes to the far right!

We need one of these for 16. I'd be happy to get a point on that bastard this year.

Tripled that **** last time I played it (and holed a 25 foot putt). Next time I play it might be with a chainsaw.

Was on for two but above the hole and stuck right against the fringe. First one just made the putting surface , the second rolled about 4 foot past then I think it was a three jab coming back .

Crease a drive over the bunkers, melt a 7 iron to just short of the traps in front of the green, flub my pitch into the pot, blade the next one over the back, chip to 10ft, lip-out, tap-in.

Driver, 4-wood, knockdown 8 or 9-iron (depends on the wind & pin) with a couple of putts. It all hinges on the tee shot.

I can't wait to hear how Solarman intends to play this (or any other) hole.

Nah I hit two crap tee shots both days and still made Par, tee shots are over rated

i thought the picture is much less initimadating? the bunkers 80m short of the green seemed to stick out on the fairway a lot more and make you keep your 2nd well left.

The reason for your shitty drive is obvious - drinks cart (Sarah) at the 9th green. Great times.
