    All good mate, all good. I know my place in the whole chain of things!!

    We don't get massive beasts down here in our estuaries like the monsters you lot get up there.

    Although there's an absolute massive flatty that gets around when I generally fish. I've made it my mission to get her in my boat. She's been hooked up plenty of times but always manages to get off one way or another. My mates are happy to hunt the bream, whiting and pinkys etc, but my efforts are now concentrating on the big girl.

    The blokes in the boat next to us on Saturday hooked her, fought for nearly 10 mins and she surfaced about 10m behind the boat. She dead set looked like she was 2 metres long!!
    Flick of the tail and off she went, with 2 boats full off extremely disappointed men left behind!! Haha

    Caught a 33cm bream today at Woronora with shitty servo prawns, was awesome to see the smile on my young blokes faces.

    i must admit, as per the initial post, this is something I will get back into in the coming year.
    I wish I had gotten my kids more involved in this as well over the years.
