Sometimes when I think of you I touch myself..........
All good mate, all good. I know my place in the whole chain of things!!
We don't get massive beasts down here in our estuaries like the monsters you lot get up there.
Although there's an absolute massive flatty that gets around when I generally fish. I've made it my mission to get her in my boat. She's been hooked up plenty of times but always manages to get off one way or another. My mates are happy to hunt the bream, whiting and pinkys etc, but my efforts are now concentrating on the big girl.
The blokes in the boat next to us on Saturday hooked her, fought for nearly 10 mins and she surfaced about 10m behind the boat. She dead set looked like she was 2 metres long!!
Flick of the tail and off she went, with 2 boats full off extremely disappointed men left behind!! Haha
Wasn't sure where to put this link. You might have seen these guys on the News recently. They describe themselves as Fishermen, but there is lots of other stuff on their videos. Great sound tracks as well.

Caught a 33cm bream today at Woronora with shitty servo prawns, was awesome to see the smile on my young blokes faces.

Mum went fishing with 5 blokes and ended up coming back with a red snapper.
Lucky her!
Day one Bribie.
Horse!
Found it half way up the beach maybe left by the pro netters. Will use it for bait.

First Mangrove Jack of the season.😎
i must admit, as per the initial post, this is something I will get back into in the coming year.
I wish I had gotten my kids more involved in this as well over the years.
