    Default Your Course

here are a couple of pics of my course (Nudgee)

view of the 1st fairway from the Blue markers on the North Course.

... and the view from the 1st tee on the South Course.

I'm not sure that we have a "signature" hole at Nudgee but i'll take a pic of our Index 1 hole and post it at a later date

Must be sweet to play on a course that doesn't have advertisements on the hole information signs.

    Kind regards,

    Ben (Ducky).

North #1 would be the signature hole nowadays wouldn't it? I mean - it's pretty distinctive.

Other worthy holes include North #2, 11, 17 and 18.

On the South course, the only holes that I remember are 1 & 18. Then again, haven't played the south in years...

Not sure the exact distance, but I think it's around 260-ish metres. I've done it once or twice, but you either end up in the greenside traps or the machinery shed. Very scary shot. Even playing down the fairway is a scary proposition for the slicers...

The ideal line is to hug the left-side embankment, which leaves you only 50m out from the green with no bunkers in your way.

easily 240 .... that's the 150 marker the person in the pic is walking past.

Ideal tee-shot then is a nice, high fade. Has to be a strong shot though .. any cut tee shots end up in the dam

16th tee looking over to the clubhouse (18th)

16th tee, Wide open par 5

2nd shot over a little creek, right to left sloping green

this does'nt really show the true slope

I took the camera out the other day and forgot I had it...not really the hole I had in mind

It's a golf course... but where are the trees?? That place looks like it would suit my power-fade fine, not like tree-lined fairways such as Carnarvon
Lucy Harris smart smart smart, Martin Harris dumb.

I haven't played on my course since January.
And I'm not sure I want to lug the camera around with me anyway.

Here are a couple of pics (from the website) of the hardest hole at Nambour Golf Club.

    Hole 4, 417m par 4, Index 1.

    From the tee:

    From the green:

I did take a couple of photos of the course with the camera a couple of weeks ago, but they didn't turn out too well.

Ok as I have no idea how to post a picture here is the website which has snaps of each hole:

    http://www.rydeparramatta.com.au/

on the bottom left of the front page is a Photo Album -has lots of artistic photos that really don't give you any idea of the actual golf holes!
