Was worse when my mate used to open up my burger and take them off mine and add to his without asking me.

This is a golf forum. You should be setting golf targets and telling us about them.

Playing for than two weeks in the 52 would be a good start. I remember being told that getting away from shiftwork should mean more golf, not none.

I'd love a $ for every time I've ask for a plain cheese burger and clearly specify that all I want is bun, patty and cheese, nothing else and they f**k it up.

That's how my daughter has them, and I'd say 1 out of 3 are wrong. Got it wrong Friday, even after confirming it was a cheeseburger with meat and cheese only at the payment window!

Just had a 3 day weekend with the wife and kids in the central west of NSW. No golf, but a bit of markets, The Dish, 3 days at Western Plains Zoo (one full, 2 2 hour visits) staying in the on site cabins, a trip to the Old Dubbo Gaol, then home through Orange and via Mt Panorama today.Everyone had a cracking time. Best family weekend in a long time

I remember when I went to SA my mate said he wanted to drink pots. Stuff that I thought, not drinking poof glasses, so ordered two schooners and bar lady served me two pots. Backwards place.

I thought we may have had a Remembrance Day thread, but I couldn't find it, so here is a good place for this.

I can't ever remember being in a public place before at 11.00 on 11 November, but there I was in Ballina Fair Shopping Centre at 11.00, when the PA system started announcing it.

The Last Post started up, and everyone in the centre within my eyeline stopped and paid their respects. I mean everyone. It was very impressive.

I think Rememberance Day is starting to get bigger than ANZAC day in terms of a defined moment that we all remember. I have to say it is getting more noticeable ever year.

Being a Government employee, every Rememberance Day has had a small ceremony piped over the PA.

The kids made paper poppies at school yesterday, sat through a 5 minute ceremony (the school is a preferred education facility for Defence staff), and asked me questions about war and our family history of servicemen. It made a significant impression.
