Victor Harbor GC on a dewy Sunday morning

Tee off @ Sunrise (literally watching it come up from 1st tee) and then its just me and about 20 kangaroos on the course

10 clubs, no score card, 3 hour round, almost perfect golf

After almost 12 months of treatment. My sister has today been given a complete pathological response. Basically no cancer detected. To say we are relieved to hear this news is an understatement. Over the last 12 months she has certainly showed me another side to her I didn't know. She is one tough bitch. I might have to crack a bottle of something nice tonight to celebrate. #****cancer

I didn't really know what to say to her when she called at lunch to tell me but to just cry tears of joy. If I had the time over I certainly would have busted out a KAKAAA.

Standing on the Par 4 18th tee with the bet all square and getting called a pussy by your playing partners for pulling a 4-iron when everyone else has driver, only to counter with a bet double-down, then out-driving the group with 4-iron and taking the biscuits.

Not golf related but as some of you may know I have been concentrating on my paddling for the past few years. Well yesterday a goal I set last year was achieved. PaddleNSW Harbour Series 40+ short course champion. I even had the honour of an ozgolfer present Longy. He had come up from Vic for work and decided to enter the event also.
