I got greedy and put ten on Patronyme in the last in Sydney - $3.40 fixed odds. It won in a canter - even better!

Which site are you using? Looking to open one, and I'm really not sure about a few of them.

I have had Centrebet, Sportacumen, ACTTAB, TAB Sportsbet accounts.

I've only ever had to collect from one, and Sportsalive sent out the cheque a couple of days later.

I'm still playing with the same $50 I put in Melbourne Cup day 2008... Got it to $480, then been back down to zero and kicked off the canvas a few times now!!!

Depends how much you bet and on what, if you like trifectas, quaddies etc, you need a TAB account. If you like to bet sport, have a look at Betfair, best prices and you can bet both ways, either back or lay.

Was one of the joys of the ealy starts on shift work.
The traffic no problems for a 6am start are nothing to the stuff I now have to face when on my way for a 7am start. I leave home 20 minutes later than I did for a 6 o'clock start but get to work 1 hour & 10 minutes later !

Was doing that to start with but me working 6 to 3:30 was not fitting in with meeting I would have each afternoon. 7 - 4:30 is my compromise, rarely out before 5 though.
