Good to hear Grunt. Hopefully you didn't get fleeced and ended up with enough to have a decent restart.

Not sure on the most eligible bit. I still have to pay the legal bill, five figures with 2 at the front.

Thanks mate. Would not have expected the change 2 years ago. The whole process has justified my decision. I think there was a plan on her side for this result alot earlier than I realised.

I'll add that as reason #537 as to why I avoid marriage. Yikes.

I've got a mate who's stayed with his wife for years when it's been dead and buried for a long time. He's a partner in a law firm, and she's tied up in all the things they own etc, and they'll never split because of what it will do to him financially. You are much smarter than him! As painful as it is, there is much more to life than money. Sorry that you had to go through that G, but you'll be better off for it in the long run.

Same issue I am having. We will just stay separated until I sell the business.
We are amicable and she still works in my office as Admin Manager. We are in agreeance that she gets house. I get business.
Probably only keep it for another few years, sell up and disappear OS as already slowly setting up a life in Thailand.

Achieving settlement in a long and messy divorce. Tomorrow the road back to normality will begin with settlement papers being lodged in the federal court.
Sad part is the final deal is only slightly different to what I offered at the initial stages. The only winners are the lawyers, with around $60k split between them. Could have been settled for just under $1k.

Managed to view the RAAF 100th Anniversary Flypast today. I might have to check out the Avalon Airshow after getting the taste for it today.

I went to the last one, but saw bugger all of what was going on outside, as I was part of one of the exhibitors.

I accidentally went to an airshow in the UK for the 70th anniversary of VE day. It was awesome, particularly all the old planes they still had flying.

I remember watching the F111s practicing for airshows while playing cricket next door to the runway. We had to pause the game often due to the noise.

Let me explain the "accidentally" part - I was in Cambridge for work in 2015, and had the weekend free. I knew Duxford airfield was just down the road and knew they had a bit of a museum (and I'm a bit of a history nut). Realised when I got there what day it was and what was going on, and it was very special. They had an SR-71! Went to Lords the other day of the weekend to watch some cricket (Eng vs NZ test), was a good weekend.

Watching Martin Kaymer on the Euro tour. Skill set is miles ahead of his current world ranking. It’s a mixed bag but his best is easily world top 20.

A part of me hopes he stays on the Euro tour for good. He’s probably the only player that is keeping me watching the Austrian Open
