So after some ordinary news on the scans of my broken neck advising the bones had not even started mending after 7 weeks, I have since seen the surgeon who confirmed otherwise. Everything is healing as it should and all in perfect alignment.

Neck brace gradually coming off and I even started hitting some shots into my practice net yesterday and today with no pain or issues at all. Only downside is my thought of losing the ability to hit the iBlades and subsequent ho’ing appears to be unessessary as they still feel easy to hit. Has kept me entertained during this period though!

Now planning on my return to the game and have some excitement at the thought. May be out there with the boys having a crack as early as this Saturday, but won’t play in the comp, just have a hit and see how I feel each hole.

Thanks mate, yes it might sound a little fast in the above but trust me it’s not quite like that haha. I’m just a little excited about the thought of getting back out there.

I’d love to be able to hit some shots pain free but can’t see it in the near future.

    Good luck with the recovery

    I am so lucky.

I just received an SMS message advising me that my mobile phone number has just won 6.5 million pounds in a betezy competition that I didn't even enter.

As I am going to England later this year I think I will wait until I get there, and then present myself at Betezy headquarters and claim my prize in person.

    What could go wrong?

    Don't do it, Jim.

The PETA protesters tell us that horse racing is cruel. You need to take a stand and boycott that blood money.

Dropped off a trophy yesterday to get engraved, where a mum was asking the owner's wife, whether they had a lot of very cheap medals in their old stock ...

'We should have some. Does it matter that they have Winner on them?'
'Oh no. They can't say Winner.'

It wont be long before they find out. “Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”

Its not the finding offense so much, but the idea that everyone else should care that they find something offensive.

I'm not sure if you are doing it meaningfully but you are basically making my point.

We've moved past stabbing people in the head when we find offence, to just whining about being offended. If that isn't progress i'm not sure what is.
