Consciousness and awareness - awareness is being aware of what is happening and being aware of what is happening within ourselves while we are conscious. Where did I leave my glasses?

Being back in Brisbane. So many bogans on the Sunshine Coast! (Running on the beach every day was nice though.)

Yep I agree they were all merkins (except maybe Singo), but to say Lane was better is a big call.

I shake my head at those I went to high school with, who are still there. In most cases they have multiple kids and not much of a life. There's a good chance I'll retire there though and the weekends away are great.

Cafe's run by genuine 'wogs'. Italians who have their soccer team flag hanging somewhere, their family are regular visitors, there is Italiana everywhere - posters of Vespas and postcards from 'home'.....

You can tell these guys love their coffee, love your presence in their cafe, and love to make good coffee for you.

That one does not sound so good

It reminds me of "Egg Cream". All through New York there were claims of the "Best Egg Cream in NYC". Curiosity finally got the better if me, and it turned out to be 50/50 mix of Egg Nog and Cream Soda. Strange beverage to say the least.

Can't remember which order it needs to be, but the milk curdles if you put the wrong part in first.

    Actually not a bad drink.
    Forum needs more banter.
