Default The Pre PreChamps Round - Thursday Redcliffe

    Hi guys

As I am hosting the NQ bandit Ned for 3 days prior to the champs and there is little point sitting around when there is golf to play I am thinking of heading over to Redcliffe for the Thursday comp (well M-F comp).

    Anyone else interested?

Tee time based around other interested parties - either 7 ish to beat the traffic or @11am I reckon.

Tee Time is 11.00 and 11.06am

    1. Hux 30 pts
    2. Ned 36pts (sandbagger)
    3. ddasey 29pts
    4. Jarro 32 pts
    5. eags 35pts
    6. Grunt 33pts
    7. Damoocow 38pts
    8. Razaar 36pts

    It is very smooth.

Hux and Ned Kelly were gratious enough to let me try their drivers today too, and even though their drivers had much more exotic shafts in them, i still think the HMOI stands up really well

I would never dream of telling the big unit to play off the ladies tee

He knocked a couple of big drives out there later in the round, but i was more impressed with his mastery of the 'heavy putter'

What about his ball magically reappearing onto the green after he'd already thrown it away

Of course very important to DQ when you have sub 36 points
They were of course purely provisional shots after having hit the drive.

Although Redcliffe isn't my favourite course in the world I must say I enjoyed the round today - it was in great nick - not sure how many mowers they own but they were certainly all out working this arvo.
Nice to meet 2 newies for me- Hux and new roomie ddasey. [Oh and intrepid tee photographer Henno]
I had a ball with my group of Eags, Razaar and Grunt and can't wait for the weekend.

Damoocow, Eags and yours truly have developed very sore backs having been subjected to the Grunt swing over 18 holes. Leaves nothing behind.
