Seriously, how dumb are some people! Listen to the interpretation of what happened by the Dash Cam owner?

Red Falcon, does a fake pull up, and then has a brain fade and drives straight on in front of the cop, who doesn't react quick enough to miss him. I am pretty sure the law requires you to stop/ give way.

Can't have been that important a job if he then pulls over. Must have wanted his free maccas before the shift ended.

Yep, happened to us las year. Well known retailer's website got hacked and credit card numbers were taken at a time when my wife was buying some stuff.

It is a right royal pain in the arse.

For the first time ever, one of my accounts was accessed by someone else.

According to Apple, my account was used to send an imessage to an iphone. Probably russian hackers, boasting about rolling the Democrats, I expect. It could just be some Apple spam trying to scare me into changing my password, I suppose.

There appears to be no change to my Apple account. It still has $10 credit in it.

As a person who has always been complacent about internet security (who would want to hack little old me?) I now wonder whether I should check everything and change all passwords. Doing that would really piss me off. Changing the Apple one was irritating enough.

Was it definitely a legit email telling you about it? So many of the fake emails I get say something like what you've just described

Don't make me panic like that!

Actually, you didn't, because I already did that panicking. It only occurred to me afterward that I may have fallen for someone's evil plan. But it looked legit, the link took me to what looked the Apple website, and I got a standard notification back confirming that my password had been changed.

That is when I raced over to Itunes and checked that the new password worked.

I've received those sorts of hoax messages in the past, and they have all been obvious hoaxes. The email address ending in fr or es gives it away. They claimed I bought a copy of The Phantom Menace once. I would never buy that (and I didn't have any credit at the time anyway).

ATM ate my card on the way to golf early this morning. My own banks atm but not attached to a branch so now my credit card is cancelled, as are Rob's. We have no other cards, so will have to transfer money to my daughters account and get her to get out money for us. 5 to 7 business days to get new cards ffs. Plus will have new numbers now so all our automatic payments are stuffed. What a friggin pain in the ass! Then got pulled over for a rbt on the way to golf and then barely kept it under 100, with a nice little 11 after being on the edge of the fairway off the tee. At least it wasn't hot out.

Sounds like a great start to the day ... NOT. Don't forget the banks have to factor in Australia Day as a non-business day ...
