Laziness pisses me off
JIT dumb scheduling of time slotted transport on a machine that has just had a major new piece of automation connected to it and the multitude of dumb f**ks that think there will be no teething issues.
Oh I like! I like very much......

Back again
Friday is normally a cluster f*** day. Today takes the cake of stupid planing or should I say non planning.
Plan all week was to run 2 particular Die Cutters and not the 3rd one on afternoon shift (my shift).
The plan gets changed around at 10am to not run one of the original 2 and run the other one in place in order to run a particular large volume urgent job. I find all this out at 2pm from the trail of emails that started as early as 8am with all managers and scheduling departments in on the emails. Come 4pm when I have to pick up the late list of must do jobs I see that the machine that was turned off to run the other one has a page full of must run jobs that have interstate transport booked for pickup, seriously WTF?
So yet again I have to turn the place upside down and re-arange the work line up and move employees around into unfamiliar duties to try and get some of the jobs done as there is no way in hell all will be completed tonight. I think the GM is quite pissed off now too after I let him know of the monumental f*** up with scheduling as all that needed to know had the information required well in advance.
FYI: the machines in question can not all run the same jobs.

****ING RAIN.... We got smashed the last 3-4 days (like a lot of Australia) and ended up with a leaking roof which filled the roof space & 2 wall cavities. Insurance won't cover the cause of the damage and are not willing to do any repairs in stages so we can fix what they won't cover so we aren't redoing work

I actually hadn't realised how expensive cigarettes were now days - hadn't taken any notice really since I last sold them in the bottle'o I worked at in about '91. Then someone bought a pack of 40's in front of me at the service counter at woolies - frig me how anyone can afford it is beyond me!
