The rep has ONE old chick looking at a driver, telling her how solid her 105m drives are, which she found way too dear anyway. And as he admitted, was more set up for a man??

Yet when I pulled the 3 hybrid, the G driver and the tour reg shaft out of his bags and asked if I could try, I was told not until her booking was finished in ten minutes.

He then noticed my G30 and BB shaft and all of a sudden things changed. "Noticed you use the premium shaft, didn't want you to grab just any old thing"

TOO LATE DICKHEAD!!!

No luck getting it out - last resort was to pull machine apart - has a tiny star screw I don't have a tool for....couldn't find the right one in any nearby shops....

Update - as ps3 was stuffed - decided to watch a dvd instead. Opened the hdd player and discovered the ps3 game in the drive...wife laughed as though I was an idiot - she was right...

No suspicious transactions on it. The bank obviously knows something I don't.

It's better than having some scammer max it out I guess but it is an inconvenience.... Only had this one since July last year when the same thing happened.

Yeah. But I had it happen with another bank a couple of years ago (fraudulent use of the card) except I reported it (rather than their systems picking it up) and it took them about 8 weeks to finalise the investigation and confirm that it was indeed a case of fraud. I'd rather they nip it in the bud to be honest.

Having spoke to them now it seems there was a dodgy transaction; it just hadn't appeared on my online statement yet. Stuffed if I know how the scammers got the number, I've only had this card for 8 months.

I found the the Ping rep in Victoria (Matt) to be fantastic. I live about 4 hours away from Melbourne so I phoned him to find out what demo days I might be able to attend in Melbourne for a driver fitting. He organised a demo day at a golf course about half way, then offered to drive another 2 hours and do the fitting at my home course. I told him I was happy to travel to him, but he insisted. Anyway, he came to us and it was just me and a mate with full access to all the gear and an hour and a half of his time.

Fantastic service.

Not off him. He doesn't do sales, he just emailed us our specs and said we can give them to any PING stockist if we decide to buy one.

A couple of weeks later we both ordered the G driver. Mine is awaiting collection at the shop (2 hours away), I'll pick it up in a couple of days.
