    Snowtown Golf Club

    Club doesn't have a website.
I check for a phone number. The same ph number is listed on Golf S.A, Yellow Pages and a number of golf web pages.
I call the number to book in for tomorrows Open and find out when starting times are? I get the automated sorry number cant be connected please check. Re-check I had it correct and yep numbers a dud.
I get lucky as the club has a flyer on the notice board from them advertising the open. It has a mobile number listed so I call that to register my attendance. It goes to msg bank saying the person is currently overseas and cant recive calls and to call back when they return in October.
Seriously Snowtown it shouldn't be this f**ken hard to play in your Open.
At least the flyer had a starting tee time listed.

    Never played there before.
That's the only reason I've persisted with going after the contacting issues.
Another one for the lists .

Nice round yesterday by the way .
Pity about hiccup on that short par 5 last hole.

Wifey books us into Healesville RACV resort because she hit 25 years as a member and they gave her a special rate. Nice one. Call on Friday to see if I can get a round in - "Sorry sir, the whole course has been cored and it's really not fit for play".

On the positive side, at least they told me about it, and it ended up pelting rain all day yesterday anyway so I might have dodged a bullet. Shame though.
Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!
