With all the money that ticket agencies get for doing SFA, why can't they create half decent software that lets you pick where you want to sit, instead of it deciding the "best available"?

****ing brown snakes in the garden. Am sick of the bastards. Shouldn't they be going away with it getting cooler and all? This was a big one too. By the time I got back with the snake killing tool I couldn't find the slippery little prick.

I agree - never could figure out why people even contemplate doing it.

I could put any score on the card and they have already agreed to it.

    Stoopid!

It's better than having a club captain who believes that the two scores on each card don't have to match each other, it's only the players card that counts. Don't know what his policy is on signing the damn things.

Whoops. I was under the impression that the marker column meant nothing at all and could remain blank.

Never play with me or my 16-20 mates, we all do it. What a stupid concept for weekend punters in a world where I can put my playing partners score in on a computer

I have a couple interested, but nothing solid. I've been turned down for two positions already due to being "over-qualified". They were afraid that as soon as I got the job I'd be on seek.com.au looking for something better. Of course they were right, but it still sucks.

I seem to be stuck in the tough position where applying for "any" job sees me as overqualified but applying for a "good" job is just taking too long. Sucks.

Nah, they are yet to get back to me. After they called the other week and I applied through some other process (to forward it to the Hiring Manager, or some such) I've heard nothing. I've assumed it's just gone into a corporate blackhole (or shredder) and have subsequently moved on.

just asked, they haven't interviewed anyone yet.

due to mass restructure and also moving office, could be a slow process.

    Corporate blackhole it is then.

I suppose it is difficult to justify spending time hiring when you're too busy firing.

Correct, only the players card counts, it doesn't matter if the 'other card' is different.

Allergies. I've never had one before. But seem to have developed one. Had some like oversized mossie bites on my arm earlier this week and Rob said they're hives, took some tablets and got better. Sitting here now with lumps on my shoulder, a massively fat lip and my left eye closing up I can say I hate them, and I'm only just tasting it for the first time. How people with serious ones get by stuffs me.
