Money wasting activities like fireworks on the harbour bridge. ffs. That money would be better spent on the health system or, more importantly, the eradication of cane toads.

New Years Eve - and all the people who celebrate because everyone else is [following orders]

TISM sum up this sheep mentality well in 'Bishop = Handjob' as did The Dead Kennedys in 'Halloween'

All of them are days to be endured rather than celebrated

Top stuff GMB. I bet the post-game routine has changed a bit?

Amy's ride is going past my place today. As much as I think it's a good idea to promote friendly relations between motorists and cyclists, I'm not sure how slowing all traffic on the Bellarine Peninsula to a crawl for a day helps the cause.
Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!

    Cane toads.

Just had my first encounter with one. Geez they are ugly bastards. Suprisingly, they can actually fly quite well.

Being more than slightly red-faced at RQ when my credit card was declined not once but twice. I tried a second time because I was certain there was a heap of cash available. In the end I had to borrow some cash from PeteyD. Double embarrassing.

A quick phone call to the bank this afternoon shows that RQ actually put the card through twice in a row - it went through first, and then was immediately declined on the second go due to the bank noticing the duplicate transaction.

    So I paid twice. Nice.

Luckily the efficiency of the GSC made up for another department's tardiness.

Stop that filth QLD talk. We've got the Humble Pie Co, and Freddo's Pies.

You are forbidden to talk to your weird QLD internet friends.

I was disappointed with my last couple of Yatala Pies, especially since that is the only reason I drive up the Pacific Hwy and not go out the back way.

I find they are making the crusts on the bottom too thick now because they are trying to make the bloody things bigger and bigger. Of course I could of got a bad batch since I only get there once or twice a year.

The things one notices when reaching 65.

Consciousness and awareness - awareness is being aware of what is happening and being aware of what is happening within ourselves while we are conscious. Where did I leave my glasses?
