Life or a forum if the persons grammar is shite its not going to matter. If you have nothing better to do than to actually pick up on someone's poor punctuation/grammar/spelling and your not an English teacher than you need to get out more IMO!!!

grandmasterb, the thread title is "What Pisses You Off" and it's a place where people have a whinge about things that piss them off. Poor spelling/grammar/punctuation is a pet hate of mine. If you can find an instance of me having a go at someone's poor spelling/grammar/punctuation outside of this thread please point it out.

It should be 'you're' and that first sentence makes no sense at all no matter how many times I read it. It makes me wonder sometimes if people read their message before clicking the 'submit' button.

Me leaving things to the last minute.

3 Assessments reports for my diploma due on Tuesday and I have managed to get all 3 started but no where near finished. I should have time managed it a hell of a lot better. I also seem to be getting them crossed over where they almost merge in one poor assessment report.

So grammar is now like give way signs and golf course etiquette.

Just a relic from the past, rather than a common set of expectations for all to follow.

ps. Accidental grammar slip-ups are fine. Not making an effort, on the other hand, is like hitting up on the group in front, because one doesn't feel like waiting.

There's no need to wonder. It would rarely happen.

type whatever is easiest for you and who cares if it is readable or not if people cared they'd try harder to understand it and spend more time deciphering the post than what is spent typing it in the first place that wouldn't be your problem though

Not sure if the above is taking the piss rather than being "pissed off". Your/you're, should of/should have, there/their and too/to, would have also liked a comma and a couple of apostrophes.

That is a poorly constructed sentence. Shame shame shame.

You missed a few. Taking the piss to the max mate. Eagles may have beaten the Dragons on Saturday but I think I just evened things up.
