Rob just picked up one of these yesterday..... I hate coffee, and hate the smell of it more and with her nespresso machine there wasn't really a coffee smell about the place. She hasn't even made one yet but when I walked into the house after being out I could smell coffee....

    I try my best

Wish I liked coffee, would make living with the smell a bit easier! I've gotten the impression from some people that even non-coffee drinkers often like the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Rob's parents don't drink it but love the aroma. Clearly I am odd, but that's nothing new.

People that like coffee think they are better thank alcoholics. They're not. They are just addicted to a different drug. Just look at them when they don't get their coffee.

Very odd. In my opinion there is nothing better than the smell of coffee.

School Holidays have started in NSW but only private schools on hols now until the public schools break up this week.

That means the 40K school zones are still in operation outside any school.

Driving to work today through a 40K zone outside a PRIVATE school and there's a copper hiding with his radar gun trying to nab people ........

In SA we have 25kph zones outside of schools but they only apply when a kid on the footpath between the signs.
If no kids the normal speed limit applies.

That sounds sensible, which also explains why it hasn’t been replicated in QLD

You would hope the cops would know the law otherwise they're wasting staff time for no result i.e. revenue

If the 40K zones operate regardless of whether there are kids at the school my gut feel is they're taking advantage of people knowing the school is empty and ignoring the signage.

BTW this is the second day a copper has been there this week and the 40K zone is on a hill just past a set of lights.

Easy way to raise more revenue.

No way in NSW otherwise Gladys will have to sell more public assets to fund her grand plans for the state.

With the new phone plans, I am looking at re-contracting with Telstra. Currently all our phones get a $10 valued customer bonus discount per month. They can't tell me if they will re-apply that unless I re-contract first, and then they'll see if they can do it? I wouldn't buy a TV if they told me it'll cost $2000 or $2100, but we won't know till we charge your card. Time for a change I guess. Wish they were foxtel, they seem so much easier to deal with!

don't be 2 shocked really telstra own foxtel

dont quote me on this but Telstra is coming out with a douzy of a plan specially when it comes to data

lets say ya $99/month 30gig data plan a month and once ya data runs out on this plan they will charge you for every dollar they can if you go over the 30 gig data limit

soon these plans will be changing... your plan will still be the same as previous $99 for 30 gig but what is changing is if you go over the data limit you will not be getting charged excess data anymore but you still will be able to access the internet and email they will just slow you internet speed down on ya phone in the same way basicly as they do with ya home internet service if you go over ya quota for that month

Not sure when telstra is bringing this out... but i am sure the bigger telcos will follow the same way

They've just released new plans, in the last day or two. Including a $199 unlimited plan. In the end it'll be for the better, as I discovered a different company I hadn't heard of that gives me what I want for $50 less a month than what I was trying to get from telstra (which makes it $90 less a month than what they said they can do). Funny enough, it's a provider launched and owned by Telstra.....
