No loss of power out our way, but many lights still out on the way into town this morning.

Cheating Russian athletes; 2 have tested + at the winter games so far, one particular athlete was seen wearing an anti doping t-shirt prior to the games. Ban the country indefinitely I say

    Not guilty, your honour.

Or, the testing procedure was tainted, the results have been interpreted incorrectly, I thought I could take a cold/flu tablet, my coach checks everything before I take it so it is the coach's fault, I don't know how it happened, but I didn't do it, so please believe me and let me off.

The bottom line is that no sportsperson has ever been found guilty and admitted it and has subsequently told everyone how they got away with it.

Isn’t it great when people book meetings that force a rescheduling of your day to then not even show up?

My local paper moving to a subscription model for some articles and doing away with its prior "10 free articles/month" model. I was happy being able to use incognito mode to get around the limit. Doesn't work now, and the only ones I usually want to read are the subscription ones! How dare they ask me to pay for their service.....

Now I'll have no clue!!!! (Like that's anything new)

what pisses me off is seeing people walking in the cbd or shopping centers and heads down in mobile phones not looking where they are going, i find it amusing to run and knock them over and say hey you should be looking at where ya going instead of eyes down in a mobile phone. they must have some app they use to see where they are going

another thing pisses me of is people eating and making sure everyone around them hears them chewing and showing how they chew there food and shoving in the entire steak in one mouth full, it makes me cringe every time ... my father is one of these people i have often commented to him about it , he says he can't help it if the mash potato crunchy, hmm dad mash potato is soft not crunchy or he fills his mouth so full then decides its time for a chat and ya just see food being spit out as he is trying to talk and what he is saying sounds like an entire new language each time .....

Veteran Ozgolf members may recall a series of long posts I made in January 2016 relating to a minor car accident and the very inconvenient insurance company dealings related to it.

Well,,,,the same thing has happened again.

Not just another rear-ender accident, but the same intersection, at about the same time of the morning. The same stop sign, and the same low speed impact that has pushed in my boot and back bumper.

I have a different insurance company, and the car is driveable, and my policy includes car hire of a replacement vehicle. So I'm hopeful the insurance and repair saga won't be repeated this time.

If any readers ever visit Ballina, do not drive your car on Compton Drive (or maybe just don't stop at the stop sign). It's a black spot!

Picking up during a stroke round, during a good round with only the one blemish.

Playing partner and I did that half way through a 4bbb stroke round once, when we thought we'd both washed out the hole! Neither of us had realised it wasn't stab and the other two in the group never questioned why I kept asking them whether that was a '4 a something", or whatever on every hole...
