So clikchics mum has Alzheimer's. Worthy of being in this thread. But it's not about that. Normally her mum and dad host Xmas, but as he and her are struggling more with her disease I thought it time we took over so he didn't have to do everything, he was fine with that, but clikchics brother wanted to host it as they would be out all day seeing their families, so wanted to come home and let the kids test if they wanted.

Ok, no probs, let us know what we can do to help. Hadn't heard anything just a couple of days out so emailed them asking if we can bring anything. "Could ya bring a coleslaw and maybe a dessert, we'll get the meats and the other stuff". So I got a coleslaw, a potato salad, and made a garden salad, cheesecake and clikchic made a pav. And as it turns out, clikchics dad brought a couple of chooks.

Which was a good thing, cause we get set up for dinner and her brother mentions they forgot to get anything other than bread rolls! So had we all listened to him we'd have had rolls and coleslaw for Xmas dinner and one dessert for the dozen of us to share!

Next year Xmas is at our place and if no one wants to come over then too bad for them.

So driving back to Melbourne from Port Douglas today.
Missus back at work tomorrow so has to fly back, no probs.
Kids and i drop her to Cairns airport.
On way missus and kids try put some new moisturizer shit.
Missus takes her wedding and engagement rings off, leaves em in her lap.
Hops out of car at airport and after checking in realises she has lost them when i dropped her off.

No bastard handed them in.some bastard just scored 1.5 carats

Took me about 10 phone calls to pull up camera footage when I left my phone one time. They new the guy who pocketed it as he worked in the area and I got my phone back.

Hey bud, i owe you a beer or 20! I hounded the airport, airport security, airport HR.They finally reviewed the cctv footage and "asked" the security team. Amazingly one security guy gave them to another and he was about to log them as lost property, some 36 hours later.Thanks again! Beers on me!
