- could've / could of (applies to could, should and would)

- incorrect use of the word "literally" ("That girl literally stole my heart.")
- PIN Number / ATM Machine
And my all time pet hate: people correcting me for saying something like, "Jane gave some of her money to Jack and me". The usual response is "That's Jack and I, stupid". No it's not. The easy way to remember it is to take out the other subject.
"I went to the beach" = "Jack and I went to the beach".
"Jane gave some of her money to me" = "Jane gave some of her money to Jack and me".
You wouldn't say "Jane gave some of her money to I", nor would you say "Me went to the beach".

Anyway, those things piss me off.
Best. Post. Ever.
My particular hates are 'then/than' and 'ask/akse' and 'would of/could of/should of.'
And there's a guy at work that says 'wif' instead of 'with'. And 'fink' instead of 'think'. It's like fingernails down a chalkboard to me. I feel like telling him to put his f***ing tongue between his f***ing teeth and make the proper 'th' sound.
It's not that hard to do !!

My god. We must work in the same office.
We have a guy like that in our office. We call him "Smiffy" because that is how he would say his own name.
