Default How to connect an ipod to Holden audio?

I have a new Holden wagon with the AUX input for an external MP3 player and an Ipod Nano I wish to use in the car. I have scoured the Apple store and Holden website and can't find any reference to a connecting cord. Can anyone enlighten me what I need to buy and where I can purchase it? I currently use a Belkin FM transmitter thingo which gives crappy sound as it relies on reception through a spare radio station.

Don't you just need a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable?

    That should work I think.

I guess so, but I haven't seen it advertised. Maybe I am missing something! Where can I buy one online Henno?

What does the AUX input look like? A headphone jack?

If so, post #2 will be most helpful.

Don't go buying anything ipod specific. They always charge the apple tax.

    $4.50

Dick Smith might have one as well. Take your ipod in though. In typical apple style, they make the 3.5mm hole a little counter-sunken so that normal cables occasionally don't fit. All I did was cut away some of the black plastic with a stanley knife though.

Yep, just like a headphone jack. I thought it couldn't be that simple but apparently it is. I'll try and track down an online store with one, DSE or the like. Thanks guys.

Just a simple little cable is the best option, or you can go the FM transmitter route. Plugs into the ciggy lighter.... great for long car trips and/or if you forget to charge your iPod regularly.

Paint it white and call it "iPod iAuxiliary iConnector" and they'd be $19.95.

I've got the "iPod iAuxiliary iConnector" option.

It plugs into the bottom of the ipod, and then has two outputs (inputs) one to the cigarette lighter to charge the ipod, and the other to the aux in port for the car stereo.
