87 off the bat at Logan today.

pretty pissed off considering i was +3 after 10 holes

forgot how to hit the ball after the 10th hole. Would have been worse if i hadn't chipped and putted well today.... the Scotty was working a treat .

    yippeee.....
got back to golf this evening, last game on Sunday...

thought I would be rusty and crappy...what with a new driver, new wood and new putter in the bag (yet again)...

    well....hit 8 greens...and had 7 legit birdie attempts...
had 18 putts...so something left a lot to be desired...

but really really happy with the way I was hitting my irons, and the softer (more enutral top hand grip) seems to be working nicely...

the Blue and R580XD still needs some work on...hitting it great...but not the distance I was expecting...still good...but expected more...

after walking 300odd yards to play my second shot into the first, I thought it would be a good round...

5 pars 4 bogeys 2 edge burners, 2 lipouts later...it wasn't as good as I had hoped for...

it's my second longest drive on that hole...smack bang on the 100yard marker...

my longest drive ever on the first left me with a 80 yard shot in....but I'm pretty sure I didn't hit the green that time...

Good to see you've worked out how to get that extra distance Mau,
Q: How far did, you have to run backwards after you hit your driver to achieve 300 yards

Something worthwhile posting for a change. Played the friday 9 hole comp at city yesterday. I think it's just a chicken run or something. Shot 38 around the back nine (1 over) for a nett 32.5. 12 putts including a missed 6 footer on 11. Overjoyed with it as I've had some crap days lately so at least something was going right for me

Shot 4 over today, 2 over after 2, turned 2 over, 1 over teeing off the last..... no comment.....

    32 putts , 3 three putt greens, 4 birdies, 5 bogeys, 1 other...

Combined with the guy I was playing with, in a 2ball (yeah whatever) to finish 7 under scratch. Should be enough for a win

Playing comp. (finally ) with Kee in LGC since 10am and the heat is no kidding. After 9 I suggested just rent a cart for the rest but Kee think he can do it and call me a wussy

After the game we both exhausted by the heat the unable to perform well and played pretty bad game of myself... 23 points and Kee for 30 Maybe Malaysian just have better guts under heat

Hated my swing currently and keep thin my shots. I thought I have it head up again but I was having the head down all the bloody time and couple of occasion almost got my neck twisted.... and didn't find out the cause until hole 18..... which I again try to hit too hard and tippy toes. Freaking idoit me!

Will be back to HK next Thursday and probably will away from golf for a month.

That's pretty awesome Trung. Mate, with scores like that, you can be a granny any day ...

Good scoring Kev. Doesn't it suck when you play so well and your handicap stays the same?

    Blues are for Gorillas ...

Actually, I reshafted the Ashton with a Blue Stiff and left it uncut at 47.5 inches. It certainly is more stable at the tip than the ICON V2 I had in it. This is the perfect club for you to enter long drive comps with ...
