Default Monday - Post Champs round, Redcliffe GC, 9:12a.

So where will we go on Monday for the real stayers?

Somewhere between Pelican Waters and Brisbane is probably best as I think I will fly in and out of the capital.

Beerwah? Perhaps Nudgee so we can jump straight on the plane afterwards?

    Suggestions please.

I'd love to play Brookwater again. But it's to far away isn't it??

You'd be adding over an hour and a half of extra driving to your day.

great northlakes. Somewhere a bit easier after pac harbour and two rounds at pelican waters would be a bit better. Especially after the expense of balls at the other three games

Even if you dont do it on champs weekend, you're always welcome to come out for a hit Tim. I picked up jono from Bris airport the other day and it was about 45min (good run).

    Do it, Tim.

Brookwater is a must play course. It's not in its tip top state at the moment due to recent flooding, but it was still very good compared to other courses. The layout is magnificent. Australia's version of Augusta, IMO.

I like the course so much that I'm thinking of moving there some time in the future.

Yes i have to agree here.

For value for money Redcliffe is one of the best courses around S.E.QLD. It's nowhere near as penal a course as the Champs/Pre-Champs venues ... so might be a nice relaxing round to finish off on

Bruce, it's on the way back from Pelican Waters to Brissy airport too, about 30 minutes from the airport to be exact.

I'd be keen to play there if we can gather enough interest.

AndyP .. do you know if they have an open comp on Mondays ?

    Huh?
    I found post 3 helpful.

Comp on Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri, but it is the one and the same comp, that is, I assume that there is only one winner over the four days.

Bruce, i believe a few good reviews of Redcliffe G.C can be found at ISG too.

As interesting as Twin Waters or Hyatt sound they might be a bit far out of the way to fit in with the trip.

So I think we are down to Redcliffe or Nothlakes then.

Northlakes is penal. Redcliffe would be a much nicer post champs round.

I'm happy with any course. Redcliffe, beerwah are both good options. I'd probably sway against North lakes as our golf games will probably already have taken a beating over the weekend. We can play nudgee if that suits. I'm sure one of us Nudgee members could organise that however, i think both beerwah and redcliffe are better value for money.
