Are you serious,Kristian.I have been waiting for this book for ages, considering he left the story hanging with the last book ,so we have all been waiting for the continuation.

When it comes to books and cliffhanger endings, I have astounding patience... Plus I don't know if I'll have any time to really sit down (be it in my study, on public transport, the loo, etc.) and do any reading for at least a month or so.

But I may end up driving off to one of his other Sydney book signings if I decide that I can't wait any longer - I was going to hold off when Six Sacred Stones came out, but gave in rather quickly and decided I couldn't wait, and that a signed copy didn't matter as much as I thought.

finally, but it annoys the bejesus out of me that it takes them so long for a paperback print, the wife wont let me read the hardcovers in bed after the last time i dropped one on her head when i nodded off

he held a discussion/signing at Blacktown library just before six scared stones was released,it was a really good evening, he comes across as a genuine laid back guy that owns a delorean and is a keen golfer too

Half way through 'Avenger' by Frederick Forsyth. Good story. Touches on the Milocivic era in Yugoslavia. A part of history I chose to ignore at the time. Nasty stuff.

Recent reads ; 'Blind Faith' by Ben Elton. Pretty good. A modern day '1984'.
And 'Name to a Face' by Robert Goddard, my favourite author. Not one of his best.

Yes he has been around a while, I'm re-reading. He took Hunter S Thompson's job at Rolling Stone. He is a very funny man.

For the geeky like myself the next Wheel of Time Book (The Gathering Storm) should be out Tuesday 27/10, seems to be getting good reviews from the US so far, looks good.

I'm onto number 10. But I guess there's no hurry with more to come.

Just read the James Packer autobiography by Paul Barry whilst on holidays - good read. Doesn't paint any of the Packers in a very good light - certainly doesn't paint James as an astute businessman in any sense.

Blood, Tears and Folly: An Objective Look at World War II.

The first chapter contains a line to the effect; "it is my opinion" which seems somewhat subjective.
