    Default Lowest handicap ever!

    When I moved OS, I spoke to the manager of my club about how I could keep my Aussie h'cap active. He advised me to send him the details of any comp rounds or rounds played under comp conditions with a proper marker and he would use them to handicap me, as the UK and Aus systems are almost identical.

    Anyway, I have been keeping my cards, but didn't get around to sending them to him until this week. I just got notification that my mark has been updated, logged on and I have moved in from 9.1 to 7.9!.

    I haven't had any amazingly low rounds really, just enough +7s and +8s to keep eating away at it.

    Anyway, very excited. Next stop: 7.4!

    Well done Scott.

    So, are you going to play better when you come back to Australia - Not as much breeze;

    Or, worse - Sydney's lack of inspiring golf courses.

    I've thought about it. Probably better, because the course management skills I have now are far beyond what I used to possess, and I'm ironing my swing out as well.

    I'm hoping to have the $$$ when I get home to join somewhere half-decent.

    Do you mean bowel movement?

    I just think this bit of good news for young Scottt might keep his short temper on hold for a little while, which we would all appreciate. It's been a tough week for him, so some good news is always welcome.

    Of course having a lower handicap and being able to play to it are different things altogether (as you well know)..

    Of the numbers to drop, I was quite partial to number two.

    It goes without saying that if it's not in an Australian comp, then it doesn't count.

    I don't understand why the thread was started anyway.
