Well there's the daily driver - TS Astra SRiT Turbo,

Wife's daily, (that I bought her for an anniversary present) - R53 Mini Cooper S, (the supercharged one)

Toy 1 - modded MY99 WRX that I have owned form new

    Toy 2 - 1979 Triumph TR7V8, (old English 2-seater with a 4 litre Rover V8 under the bonnet)

Part owner of another TR7V8 but that one's a full-on tarmac rally car!

About it for 'current' - heaps of previous cars/motorbikes - gotta have something to waste money on ....................

Many years ago I got to do a heap of laps of the Canberra Police Driver training centre in a Marque Sports TR8. Brakes lasted about 6 laps, and it overheated on the 7th. Unbelievable fun though!

My first exposure to a TR8 was back in about '83 at the Dunlop 2GO Rally. Driven at the time by Malcolm Wilson of all people. Some other notables running at that event were Ross Dunkerton, Colin Bond, Greg Carr, David Officer, Geoff Portman and even Dick Johnson. Those were the good old days!

    Anyway, back on topic....

Daily is a company car that changes every week or two.

Nice one. My FIL has the same model in the same colour. We've been borrowing it while our car was repaired. Bit different to drive than my diesel Pajero! So glad to give it back to him this weekend, unscratched. I'm not a Commodore fan at all, but the Monaro is a very stylish look, particularly in basic CV8 form without the extra nostrils and plastic spoilers etc.

So I am not the only one with a Subaru sitting neglected in the shed/garage! As I mentioned, mine has sat in there for about a year now without moving, just cannot be bothered driving it! Bought it new back in May '99, now done 80,000km, and it did 30,000 of those in the first 18 months I owned it! Sad really .......................

We've still got the Turbo Territory. Mods should commence either late this year, or early next year.Lowering, New rims, Front mount intercooler plus secondary CAI from Typhoon, Hi flow cat, Valve springs, oil line filter for turbo, New BOV plus tune. Should get down and boogie once I'm finished. Will probably start snapping CV's next.....

Nice Ben! You've had some weapons then

If we're going to talk about past cars here is one of my former pride and joys:

And here is another (though this is after I sold it - it looked much nicer without the car bra:

Currently have an VZ SS Crewman ('05)...The Tour Van!

Was thinking about doing some tweaks - mainly to the stock exhaust, gearbox and a little tuning. But may end up selling it instead.

I would recommend a Jazz. My mum has one and I've driven it a fair bit. It has tonnes of space and a nice car to drive. We got the Swift Sports, very good handling car but if need to have more than 2ppl in the car it's quite a tight fit in the back and there is not much room to carry stuff. You will also struggle to fit golf clubs in the back.

I would get the Jazz. Even with 3 ppl in the car the Swift feels quite small. You should also go check out the boot as it is tiny. We got the swift before we had kids. Our family car is a 2009 Forester.

our company car is a Jazz, we just use it as a runabout and it can take quite a load in the back with seats down.

Buy an i20 and put the savings to your mortgage. Better still, buy one that is 12 months old for half the price of the others you are talking about.
