Subaru call theirs the BRZ. And it's only a 2 litre 4 cylinder non-turbo boxer engine so shouldn't be too hard on the juice.

Got an email that my Amarok had stretched out to July so a 10 month wait in total.
Walked in and grabbed the demo speced up higher for the same price. Delivery should hopefully be some time next week.

10 month wait is really silly......you'd get a Porche with options quicker.

A friend of mine is waiting on a Polo GTi. He was told about 4 months.
I see that most of the reviews are rating the Ford Ranger as being a generation or two ahead of everything else in its class, even better than the Amarok. It's really rare for any Ford to get that sort of acclaim.

Yeah. But I've had Fords for the last 8 years now and couldn't be stuffed with them anymore. They are built to a price and it becomes very obvious after 12 months when everything decides to loosen up and little niggly things begin to go.
Can't really beat a 4x4 of the year though.
On top of that, they are everywhere on the roads. It's nice to have something a little different I believe.

Can't argue with that. I like having something different myself. When I had my Hyundai I loved it as a car but it was just so "same" as so many others on the road. I'm starting to feel the same way now about my '04 XR6. Even though its a manual and a fairly unique colour.
I was just so surprised when I read so many reviews that claimed that a Ford was the best at something. And not by a little bit either. They reckon it was 2 generations ahead of the Hilux and a full step ahead of the VW. I think it was a once-in-a-lifetime event.
FWIW, I must admit I do have a soft spot for VW's. Even though the only one I ever had was my FV racecar.

07 Focus, Do I like it, not really, but that was what the wife wanted. I'm never here so it didn't worry me. It does have a surprisingly large boot though. Wasn't thrilled about having to take it back a month after buying it because the brake pads were shot.

Well, she survived the assessors and lasted me 2 and a half more years. But today I finally managed to secure a sale for what roughly amounted to the price of a D22marshall set of JDM irons.
Moving on to an 03/04 Magna VR-X.

Fiat Freemont Urban - 6sp manual diesel / 7 seats / fuel economy 5-6l/100km.
Bought new in Feb 2014. Currently has 60,000km on it.
Loving it (but the wife drives it during the week).
Repayments and fuel are costing less than the fuel alone for the Kia Grand Carnival it replaced!

We do have a second car now, which is considered my car. It is a 2003 Mazda 323 SP20 sedan.
