Default Anyone into tennis as much as golf?

Picked up tennis again in the past month or so after a 20 years hiatus. Really enjoying it again and I think it has helped my golf too in terms of fitness and weight shift in the swing!

Used to play 7 days as a kid, even had sponsorship and made way into state team. Then discovered drinking, women and late night essentials such as souva's and chips.

Let's just say my body now prefers golf.

I played as a kid thru to end of uni. I'm crap at tennis now, as AndyP will attest.

Tennis is a game I have never got into, I tried while I was still at school, I was not that bad but I just could never get into it.
Played Squash for a little bit, squash was how I found out that my eyes were not that good. I was 17 and mates could not believe how I got to the ball each time wit hease but seemed to miss hit it every time. I went and got my eyes checked and have had glasses ever since. Mates could no longer beat me and have always joked that they wish they never commented about it.

can't have a can whilst you are playing so has never piqued my interest. It's even dull to watch on TV (obvious exception to the good looking chick players), so of no interest at all.

A few years ago i played all the time travelled for 3 years or so to the minor Tournies and Queensland Vet (35 age bracket) events. Had some great times and won a few events here and there. Was sitting on ITN 4.0 and verging on a 3.5. Great sport. A long term affair with a (unhappily) married chick (not my instigation) went sour so i dropped tennis completely and here i am at golf again.
