Shiny new stealth irons were delivered yesterday by my friendly club pro, ready for use tomorrow when my iso period ends.

This is my first 'New' new set of irons since my PGF Status set bought in 1994.

About to start again properly mate. Going to join Gympie GC for now as it’s a very long waiting list for Maroochy river right now

Should hopefully be down your way for the back marker in August with Paul Hayden in the pro shop. He’s my old coach from Royal Jinders

    Hope you’ve been well

Spent an hour on the simulator. Stealth was the most consistent by a mile.Set starts at 5 iron, which I now hit 190m 😳

Titleist T100 irons 4-P with AMT tour white S300 shafts. I have been fitted for them not just off the shelf. Lie angle needs a little adjustment but otherwise they'll be ready for the weekend, and I can finally replace the old clunkers I've been struggling to hit with any consistency.

First two rounds thoughts. It was cold and windy so yardages were difficult to work out.Perhaps half a club longer. Sweet spot is large. The shafts are slightly more whippy than my old NS Pros, but so can make them work for me.

Picked these up on Wednesday, and had a little hit on the range with the 4, 7 and PW to get a little idea of long, mid and short performance. They're an absolute pleasure to hit. Compared to the old ones they feel lighter to swing, I'm much more balanced and stable, and I feel much more in control of the club. I mucked around a bit with working the ball and found that a lot easier too. The smaller heads make the ball look like it's teed up which gives me confidence to make a good strike, and I'm getting more distance. Don't know the exact but eyeballing it looked about 10m longer. It would have been nice to do this a year ago but I'm glad I waited until after lessons and improving my swing. Excited to see how they go on course tomorrow 😁

Bought a couple of Scotty Cameron putters from the proshop that were marked down. A phantom X 5 and a phantom X 8. Probably both already broken but I will flip a coin in the morning to see which one goes in the bag.
