Got some MP 63's with 6.0's (traded!) Had my best ballstriking round for a long time last Sat with my old faithful 690mb's with 5.5's. Not sure what I'm thinking but the Mizuno's are in.

A new set of Wilson Staff Ci11's irons, 4-PW, as they were having a 'clearance' sale at 'Golfio' in the USA - just curious to try them!?

Sureshot Pin Loc 1000, gave it a trot this morning, very nice and verified what I thought about this "little" 178 par 3......is actually 204...., might be 178 at the front of the first cut off the green, which begs the question, where is the yardage measured to, the front of the green??

It really depends on the course, usually they would go to the middle, but some are at the front. Sometimes the score cards would mention this.

There are also cases like at the old Ashlar course in Sydney, from memory they had a bush for the 150m marker which was to the middle of the green and the sprinkler heads were to the front.

    Laser Rangerfinders are the best!!!

Laser range finder is the best investment you can make for golf I reckon , you will start realising how far markers really are off!

Yea half the markers at my club are out. I need a wheel distance thingo and I'll put them at the right distance. Our par 3 137m is 128. Not that I ever hit the green, but I case I was good, having right distance might help.
