    Now a bag ho!

    Oh, and I almost forgot...

I picked up a matching R9 3W that had had a dozen hits for $140 (to match the driver I picked up in a trade in last week!!)...I got 2 x .350" R9 sleeves and 2 x 335" TP sleeves from Ned the other day as well. I'll pull both Motore 'R' shafts from their hosels and hold onto them as customer spares, and then I'll have 6 sleeves altogether for the 2 heads !!! That's two graphite .350" Driver/3W combos and a .335" graphite driver /steel 3W combo for the TP sleeves.

turn it up. You've got/had virtually every club every made!

fwiw, my first metalwoods were TaylorMAde. I had the 80's Tour Burner and Tour Spoon with the dimples. I also had a Supersteel fairway for a while.

After todays round, I'm wondering if I even need a fairway wood. The 17deg 909h goes a friggin mile. I used it off the tee a few times and hit it too far! It's good for 200-210 carry and a heap of roll. It's the first hybrid I've been able to hit stingers and draws with. Love the shaft. Feels like a crowbar, but does the job.

blake reckons it's "Tour", whatever that means. He said it has a "T/S' stamped on it, which presumably means "Tour Spoon". No fork as far as I'm aware.

tour spoon is just a name for a 13* 3 wood, a bit like a niblick is like a current 9i I guess, it doesn't mean it's a tour version.

When I first saw it on my R7 TP 13*, I thought it might have been something like "Strong Three"...but I suppose I can call it a tour spoon (especially given it's a TP )

the Tour Spoon of blake's is supposed to have some sort of paint break thing which makes TM ho's jizz their pants. I dont get why you want broken paint, but then I haven't had enough koolaid yet.

A paint break on the hosel might indicate it's a tour version but tour spoon doesn't.

I'm guessing the paint break on the bottom of the hosel into the heal of the club is something the Pro's prefer when looking down at the club.

The paintbreak is so they can adjust the loft without ****ing up the paint.

it doesnt have the paint break, you can see that on the pics, but it's pedigree is guaranteed as is all the tour gear i have sold in the past. One owner only and all from the JPGA.

A club tie. (First new tie since 1993.)

The club is getting me to referee some board events, after doing the GA rules accreditation course in July. (I recommend the course to any regular golfer.)

Phew. Only decisions yesterday were 'who was away'.
