G15 driver. 10.5 degrees Adila serrano shaft. Used it yesterday for the first time. Flies a bit higher than the G10 and bit longer. Love it and looking forward to the medal tomorrow

Wilson Staff Kirk Currie 2 - Centre Shaft
From the second hand bin, so didn't get the additonal weight plates or the screw-in weight at the top of the shaft. Suits me, the fitted 'heavy' base plate works well, as I cut it down to 33".

After a so-so experience with Odyssey #2CS, I can now understand the love on this site, for a heavier centre-shafted putter.

Nah plan is to work out whether I am a 52/58 or 54/60 type of player. Plus practice wedges to wear out rather than the gamers!

How does one work that out?

I just use 52-56 because the previous club is 48. but even that doesnt make much sense because shaft length is constant with wedges.

Since when, there is normally 1/4" or so between a gap, sand and lob wedge.

I don't think there is any requirement for 4* gaps between wedges is there?
I know some folks want to carry 4 wedges PW, Gap, Sand, Lob but I guess it depends on the course you play most often.

I've been playing 52/60 for a little while and it wasn't a real hassle - not a lot worse than the 52/58 combo except the 58/60 is not so good on long bunker shots green side and the 52 wasn't either. I will not doubt get a feel for distance on the 54 - hoping @95-100m + bunkers and that leaves the lob for just that. High spin shots into the green.
    Cheers

I have made a discovery, with 4 degree gaps, 3 grips (high medium low) and 3 swings, there is a steady 5m gap between pitch shots, from about 30 to 90. Works really well.

Bassara v83 X for my 3 wood, single bend (instead of double) putter shaft for my TM Fontana head as a cheap experiment, 5 Tour Velvet grips and a lamkin crossline putter grip. also was given a KBS black wedge shaft to try out. Might fit it to the gap wedge.

I have brought a new putter. One like KJ Choi's with the large grip. I love it.
