I threw out some crappy old golf shoes last week to get down to oh, 15 pairs.

So the Leeton pro had some Puma ultra light runners style for 40 bucks in my midget/hobbit size as clearout.

I paid more than that for a round of beer last week.

    Bargain.

So I caved in and got on the F9 band wagon. Was hitting it 22 meters further on the simulator next to my epic. Now to see how it goes on the course on Saturday morning. Had to spend Xmas vouchers on something. Lol.

How much longer than your previous driver was the epic?

It wasn't. Was about the same just more forgiving than what I was hitting.

I would never rely on a simulator, that seems like an alarming difference.

5 doz Srixon Q-Star Tour balls.

Every year feel compelled to load up on some crap ball that's supposed to be good, last time it was Vice Pro.

Well far from the perfect conditions of the simulator this morning. Over cast and the odd shower but was still getting a lot further out there than with the epic. Between 10 and 15 meters on most holes. Hitting one club less into the greens was noticeable. Playing partners also noticed the increase. Only missed one fairway which was nice also. Keep it in the bag for ab little while yet.

Picked up a set of Vega VM01 black finish. 5-PW

Surprisingly easy to hit ... but its at the range... would be interesting to see how it goes on the course.

Bought a 1 mtr steel rule from Bunnings . Why ? Practice my putting . Went to my putter fitting , turns out not as bad a putter ( stroke wise) as I thought , just a little out to in , cutting it slightly

How do you use the ruler to practice?
