i can get it locally for $550 but that's still too steep, us ebay deal will pick it up at $350 to my door and thats the best i've found. Looking to pair it with the cobra pro 3 wood as well as it's great so if i get both at $500 to my door i've done great as they want over a grand retail for the two of them.
If it aint for sale the right price has just not been offered

    Footjoy Contour.

Good - 200 games out of the last pair (but needed a regular Dubbin massage).
Bad - The old 7.5w were a little too wide, and the new 8w are perfect. (Is this a plot to ensure we buy from pro-shops?)
Ugly - They're black, with a flash of grey. (Hopefully, won't show the ingrained dirt, like the last pair.)

Went to the Drummond VIP sale tonight and could not walk out with out a purchase. Looked at Fairway metals and had a few hits with a few. Did not like anything on the racks. Wandered over to the 2nd hand bin and found a Cobra LD 3 wood, it had a stiff shaft in it but was not too bad at all. I think I can handle it. Owner of the store knocked the price down to an ebay like level and everyone was happy. Got it for $80.

What are the YS Fairway Tour AD shafts like?

An l5v driver plus a new shaft for it (being fitted as we speak.) Also get the 7 wood off peteyd and will get some new golf balls and also a new putter. Likely to shoot about 20 points but who cares. Sounds like i will be in good company in henno.

I reckon this will be too much club for me...but you have to try.
R9 TP tour issue 9.5* head with a Diamana Kai Li 70 shaft.

Shaft is here, head is enroute from Melbourne. Should be able to have a hit weekend after this.

    Ass

You are to blame...driver stats from today - 100% effective. Don't pass on good tips, some people listen

That little tip was resulted in a massive improvement (some may say unbelievable) in effective drives for me... wish my irons had hung in today - but I think I just need to get my head around being able to hit a decent tee shot repetitively rather than walking around with my head in the clouds.
    Cheers

We may be sharing a room at the champs but we will NEVER be family.

Probably depends on your issues but turn the right foot square or slightly pidgeon toed and it forces your shoulders to rotate rather than your legs to sway - good for nuckles like me who slide back off the ball with the driver.

Try a practice swing - even without a club you can feel your right knee really being held firm and the shoulders turn a lot more naturally.
I have a bit to go yet but I it some greta bombs today, failed to capitalise but still had 41 pts at redcliffe.
    Cheers

Does that put some undue stress on the right knee? Or is that the point?

Be mindful of those ... they're attracted to water.

Bought a dozen last Sunday, played a round Monday morning, walked off the 18th with only 3 survivors

Good value for a brand new wedge.

I had one, it was quite good, but I much prefer wedges to be gunmetal/rusty etc.
