    1. 4x PGF Status Mk V irons for coins, my first sticks 40+ years ago, just wanted to try them out - they go fine!
    2. A schmick set of PGF Aristocrats SB irons, too good to pass up for a retro set.
    3. A full set of Status Mk V irons for free, was gifted them, what the heck, better nick than the others.
    4. 10 iron set, Gerry Hogan AD21's, the precursor to the Nunchuk shafts, but better according to Gerry. A steal for $120

All acquired on one weekend. My wife thinks i have a problem.

I just purchased some ECCO Men's Biom Hybrid 4 golf shoes from Amazon. They weren't the preferred colour, but at $204 instead of $250+ for other colours, I'll cope. I'm hopeful that they will arrive before Vic Champs, but it is not scheduled to.

Have you worn Ecco's before Andy?

I only ask as I've never had a pair fit me at all, and every single one has caused horrendous blistering within 10 minutes of being worn. I'd hate for your VIC Champs to be dismantled by shoes that you've never tried before...

Yes, I'm wearing a previous version at work right now (maybe I'll take these down instead), and another one pair for golf, and have had two others. If they don't arrive a few days before, to get a test run, then I wouldn't risk taking them.

I did strongly consider the True Linkswear shoes from Jack Oliver, but decided to go with something I know.

I wasn't a fan of True. My feet sit too 'flat' in the shoes if that makes sense.

Interested to hear what those Ecco Biom Hybrids are like.
I normally wear Adidas Code Chaos or G/Fore MG4X2 and both are very comfy.

Ecco shoes do need knocking in, I had the same issue with my pairs, put a bit of preventative strapping and about 6 rounds later, they stretch to fit

You'll be long dead before Courty wins a VIC Champs mate.

I wore both pairs I had at least a dozen times. Never shifted.

Clicgear 4.0. The adjustable top bracket is a game changer. Now my Ping DLX finally fits perfectly. The thick silicon straps are a good improvement but the pencil holder seems extremely dicky. Swapped the seat bracket from my 3.5 with no problems.

Went for a fitting at the new pureform shop in Brisbane.

Come away with TSR2 driver, 3 wood and 7 wood with Accra FX 3.0 200 shafts.

Now to wait the 4 to 6 weeks for it to be built and shipped out.

Nice one! The process there was good then? Were you given specs of other clubs, if you wanted to source them yourself?
