Eeeeeeeeeee!
New New Balance shoes......... the Crocs are retired! Will be nice to hopefully not have to wear bandaids when I play. Only been like 10 years.
Now, is it worth using a waterproofing/protecting spray on these things??

TSR2 driver - I like it + hitting mat coz hitting off astroturf is hurting my arms/shoulder
more Truelinks golf shoes - Jack Oliver has a sale on. Cant have too many golf shoes.
got 3 pairs, 2 for the kids 1 for me.
Made myself one of these. Though I need to get it a bit more refined.
Hacked one together out of a 50c piece to try my last two games, and it really really made a difference to my line! Just have to get my pace right now.
Will give it a go next game, and if still good will make a few spares.
I'd happily buy the original, but at $200au each, it's a bit out of my price range!

New shoes and a new umbrella holder
Bloody heck!As someone who's an ordinary putter, it definitely helped! First round using my hacked coin version I averaged 1.7 putts a hole. Normally I'm over two. Last game wasn't as good, but that was because of distance control. I left a heap dead on line but short. But generally line was pretty good.

Did you get the "one putt" ones, with the hat clip? Wish I'd gone hunting first!

Mark your ball on the green, with the long centre line pointing straight at the hole. Then determine how much slope and which way for your putt. I've been trying to do a bit of the aimpoint "stand halfway up to the hole and feel it with your feet", thing. But, if there's no slope, line your ball up with the centre line. If there's a gentle slope you line up with the line next to centre. If it's severe, line it up with the outside line, etc.
I saw a vid on the weekend with the guy who made it. He was saying you look at your putt and work out if your putt is closer to a 1 or 4 slope (1 = gentle, 4 = severe). If it's closer to a 1, you then work out if you think it's a 1 or a 2, and then line up to the appropriate line. If it's closer to a 4, you then work out if you think it's a 3 or a 4.
Once you've picked your line, you no longer think about it, and only concentrate on getting the distance right.
When you place a ball in front of it, those lines would converge at the centre of the ball. Each one is actually 3 degrees off of the next one.
I was reading an article a few weeks ago and the pro was saying that if you can get your ditance control right on your putts, you'll generally not be far from the hole, even if you get the line wrong. I've always been a shocking putter, both with line and distance. So wanted to find a way to make it easier on myself. And the two games I've played it has certainly made it easier. Though last game I was leaving them short.
I'll have to find out with ones MTB bought, cause that's gotta be easier than me hacking these together myself.

I went there with the express intention to NOT want to upgrade. My G425 Max is the best driver I’ve ever owned- Lachy fitted me into that too. I told him he’s going to find it extremely hard to knock it out of my bag. It wasn’t that hard after all
So I warm up and we start with 5-6 with the current one and they’re all pretty much perfect, 1 was a high spinny fade but the numbers were relative.
My G425 plays at 7.5*, with the Ping Tour 75 Stiff,
The first thing noted with the LST was the sound. It’s night and day, very muted, carbony, sounds powerful.
The G430 LST was set at 9*, with the Ping Tour 2.0 Black 65 Stiff.
The very first shot with the G430 LST took off on the perfect penetrating ball flight, felt pretty awesome to be honest and seemed to go pretty far. Then proceeded to hit another 5 or 6 almost exactly the same.
In the end the Trackman showed an average blue circle for the gamer, carrying out at almost 250, about 30m wide. Then clear as day about 10m past it and much smaller by comparison was a little red circle for the G430.
I reduced spin, increased ball speed by up to 5mph and in terms of forgiveness it seemed to be really good on low toe hits which is my miss.
But the circles on trackman is what did it. I didn’t even really think about the look of it, it is a 440 head and looks noticeably different in size than my gamer but it wasn’t a big deal.
Our Director of Golf hit his Titleist 917 against it and put 10mph of extra ball speed on it.
Evnroll ER5 Centre shaft, so good.
Titleist U505 3 iron,cheers simmsy.
