So a 7 wood with a tour senior flex ? Did ya get ya seniors card as well Ferrins
Course 7 woods are all the go at the moment DJ and Joaquim ? Niemann are both using one , and are probably easier to use than a hybrid

I have embraced the lighter stiff reg fairway shafts in my fairways. I would say the old school 7 wood was probably 3 degrees or more lofted than the modern variant. The Yammy head will be along the lines of like a Sonartec and to perform will need a good swing and solid contact. Not sure that a hybrid demands as much.

I suppose what I meant was they are probably not as prone to go left as hybrids , its a spot in my bag I haven't really found the right club currently have a 19 degree hybrid and a tmb 3 iron and I am much more confidident of hitting the 3 straight
My best shot with the hybrid is the head high hook out of the trees on the left 150-170 and its a shot I dont even have to think about

I’ve found a few of the recent model hybrids don’t do this as much. That’s what I stayed away from them.

I know my Taylormade M6 isn’t left biased or my Adam’s DHy Proto’s. TXG did an episode about it last year, their test model was the Ping G410 because it has a flat setting as well. They shortened up the shaft to iron length.

I rotate the spot with a TM Sim Max 19* hybrid.
My irons start with a TMB at 24* then got normal 5-9.

You never struck me as an iron cover guy. I'm predicting these will be for sale soon.

Tried it yesterday and for me it goes 195-200 off the tee and 190-195 off the deck. Getting a bit of a 10 metre over draw but guess that is due to the offset.

Is there a way to compensate for this ball movement?

Really just for Nudgee GC where it is so bumpy that your irons get panel beaten.

Its probably heel weighted and/or upright. Looking at specs for most of the modern hacksticks seem to be getting more upright. Which makes sense.

    I'll accept that.

Although, I didn't realise that mud could get that bumpy

Only when the swamp dries out, which is only for a couple of months during the year.

Not today, but recently picked up a 14 degree aeroburner tp mini driver to play around with. Also ordered a z forged 5i (currently playing 6-pw in z forged with a z785 5i). And a Ping sigma 2 anser. I'm an addict, like everyone else here.

My cousin picked up a Sigma 2 a few months ago and the adjustable length was a brilliant feature as he is quite short and has dialed it all the way down to 32. His putting has improved drastically. Let us know what you think of it.
