Yes thankfully they had a shotgun start out there on Saturday. Could have been a lot worse.

Nice mate, what shaft? I'd like to try the equivalent Srixon version also.

Tried a bunch of different ones, but the stock hzrdus smoke black 80 6.0 ended up working the best for me. I've got a srixon u85 with the stock steel shaft (nippon 950gh) you can try/buy if you want, but I think graphite works better (at least for me).

If you want to bring it along to the champs I'd be interested to give it a hit on the range. Is it a 2 or 3 iron?

    I can do that. It's a 20 degree 3 iron.

good shaft, I played these for quite a while until I switched - I would be still playing them if not.
IF you dont know these are the budget shafts out of KBS, who knows they might really not be different.

I have one left, unused uncut and one currently in a hybrid that is destined to stay in the cupboard for life, so sing out if you happen to ever need another one.

Thanks Blakey. The shafts arrived this morning and the grips on them are great, so I think I will change all of 5-PW. Depending on how they go, and the length of the shaft that you have, I would definitely look at changing the 4I too.

Continuing my buying spree, I got some more shoes today with some Ecco Street Retro to double as golf and casual shoes. I was tempted by the Biom Hybrids which are super comfortable, but the Retro were a bargain.

Me again. Ecco cancelled this order; they must have ran out of the size. Bastards!

Off to Golfbox I go for some significantly more expensive, but more comfortable Biom Hybrid 3s. Plus a couple of dozen yellow Z-stars. And some white arm sleeves, since the others were a bit small, so I passed them on to my son. Also, some crew cut white socks for the Adelaide trip. I'm spending money on everything but clubs.
