    Membership to my local club....

Been 23 years since I've been a member anywhere, and was only a junior member for that 1 year back then.

I will. I needed the motivation to go play a round, usually I thought I wanna go for a hit but then put it off because I should be doing other stuff at home so just don't. Now I have the reason of I'm not wasting that money so I'm going to use it

Hope that works for you - thousands of gym memberships around the country argue otherwise

If i am not mistaken Shopback has an offer on TCN physical gift cards, 10% off plus 10% cashback, and that includes Drummonds. On top of EOFY sales it might be a good deal for those of you who buy new stuff.

No doubt. I really enjoy playing, I just don't put myself first.

I haven't played competitive sports since 2000 when I was at school, then when I met my now wife it's always been making sure she could play her sports. No way we could afford both of us paying out for non essentials back then and because she was heavily involved and I wasn't playing any sports it was easy to do, and then kids came along so someone had to be with them.

Now we're in a good position where kids are older and life is easier, so I can spend more time doing my own thing.

I plan to get out either Thursday or Friday after work is done, then because I'm on nighshift next block I can send the kids to school, wife to work, then swing clubs for an hour or 2 before bed.

Spending your anticipated tax refund already?

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

Well I went to TM and got fitted yesterday and walked away with a set of SIM irons (from my local club pro who was close to $300 cheaper than the retail stores), first set of new irons I have bought and been fitted for in my 20+ year golf life.

Now if anyone wants some JPX825 Pros...let me know

Matching MP20 3i to go with my set, knocking out the 3HMB.

While waiting for that to show up i threw a demo M6 19* hybrid in the bag which has been UNBELIEVABLE for someone that has never liked hybrids.

From a clearance rack at my local Rivers I picked up 4 pairs of shorts @ $7.50 each and a Rivers Tex full zip vest @ $10.

Not a fan of their polos, but the shorts look best and tailored enough for golfing. That, and I threw out a few tired looking pairs over the past weekend

Xbox one X, and the Golf Club game. I wanna play the famous courses that i have already played and in the future so that I can remember them. Like Pinehurst only last year and i can only remember about 3 holes
