The guy has gone missing and posts gone.
Oh well back to the drawing board of finding a Scotty/Bettinardi/Evnroll blade style putter.

In Golfworld Brisbane, spotted a second hand (but hardly looked used) Cobra Speedzone Driver 9.5 with Tensei Blue Stiff, price tag said $699. Asked what's the best deal, came back with $480. For anyone interested.

I never knew this - you can de-select certain sellers on Ebay so that their items don't appear.

There is one particular Australian seller who regularly mass dumps a whole bunch of second-hand stuff that fills up the entire first page or two with very over-priced clubs that never sell. However, I just found that if you go to the 'More Refinements' option at the bottom of the categories list on the left hand side of the page, you can then exclude sellers from appearing.

Yeah - that's the one. The annoying part is that they must have an automatic system that simply re-submits them every seven days when they don't sell. There are a couple of clubs on there I reckon I have seen for at least two years, without a price change ...

I genuinely don't get the logic - surely no-one, not even a great-grandpa who has never even heard of golf but is looking to buy his teenage great-grandson a surprise, is going to spend a couple of hundred dollars on a clearly old driver, when they are surrounded by better products at much lower prices.

Still, it must work to some extent, as they have been taking this approach for a long time.

I should also say - I haven't named the seller as they have done nothing wrong, illegal, immoral or even slightly sketchy. What they do is mass-list over-priced old clubs, which I find incredibly annoying, and the initial point was that I have found a way to block seeing their stuff come up (and which I know I will never buy).

Agree, it is up to the Punters to determine if they are going to pay "overs" or not, but it is annoying. Bit like a guy selling reproduction ball markers with "US Open 1905" and similar, lord help me, why bother man!

This might be my favorite. It’s been on there forever. No one is paying $5 for it, never mind $350.
