Got gloves off him, no dramas, but I didn't get the ones he is advertising in this auction (synthetic), I contacted him and asked if had some 100% leather mizuno gloves, (like the Mizuno Tec Fit glove, I normally wear), he sent me gloves that were identical but in Indonesian packaging, great gloves.

    see here http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=290300724121

he also sent me some free samples, akka the ones in the auction you are looking at, personally I prefer the 100% leather ones I got off him, the ones in the auction you are looking at are still good gloves but the 100% leather ones were my preference.

I scored a pair of brand new Oakley Ice Picks last night.

I'd looked a little while ago and could only get them from the US for $USD180 (Buy It Now) plus shipping. I was just browsing last night and saw a pair at auction that were only $80 with 40 minutes to go. I threw on a maximum bid of $125 (exactly half the RRP) and when I woke up this morning saw one of those awesome emails that says 'You Won Item such-and-such'.

I did the same thing for the headcover I bid on, and got the same response as you.

I did nothing, and it arrived today. I sent him a response and said it looked a little dodgy and that I was certain it was fake, and asked how he would like me to return it.

Next thing I know, full refund and dispute closed, without even a word from the seller.

I just bought an Odyssey Black i putter that appears to be a tour issue. It has a different insert to the retail model (no little black dots, like those on the European tour). There is a guy selling one on Golf WRX for US$600. If it is no good, I might try and sell it and get a Buttonback!

This looks cheap, pretty sure they go for just over $200US on yank Ebay.

I said to Mr RS that I would hate to see him hit a driver that wasn't low spin

He hit that thing higher than I hit my 9 iron.

Great looking and sounding head though. Huge buzz about them too.

have a look at any brand name golf glove and take note which country they are made in. Most are from Indonesia.

It is not unusual for genuine items to be sold from Indonesia. Its not unusual practice there for people to approach these factories direct and pick up large quantities, like in the tens of thousands (minimum).

Fake headcover coming soon to a fairway near you.

I wonder if the person that finds it will know it's a fake? Maybe, in that case, they'll hand it in.

No, wondering if someone should offer him $233.51 and see what the reply is.
