Speaking of drivers. You should see what Tommo did to the Cobra S9 he got off you

That, and he's done something to the clubhead that involved compressed air and an explosion

He tells me the club is cursed and I'm inclined to believe him

Will be trying to get a 4 booked for next Sunday 24th. Have not had much of a chance to communicate with everyone due to work.

If Nathan can book us in (trying tomorrow morning early) I will let everyone invlolved know the times. If Stu or 3 are unavailable the I will chase another date.

Cool, back to 7 after getting blown off on Satdy

Although..... I may be a late withdrawal if we can't get a sitter for number 2 and 3

Well the matches were played and both Ping's live to fight another day.

Ping Jnr played the best golf I have seen from him in a while. 3oneday was 1 up after 2 and Nathan clawed back to be 2 up at the turn. He then had Pete dormy 4 after 14 where he was only 4 over with 2 doubles. Pete held tough to win 15 and 16 but Nathan got him on 17 for a 3 and 1 win.

Pete played well today but giving 5 shots proved just a little too much to overcome.

I had to give Stu 8 shots in our match and we took it pretty much down to the wire. I got to 3 up at one stage in the match but Stu just kept coming back. We were back to square after 14 and on 15 I thought I had jumped ahead again with 2 putts for a par from about 12 feet. Stu is about 140 out on the 2nd fairway with a mass of trees between him and the green. Result was about 3 ft Awesome shot
I managed to sneak one back on 16 and we halved the last 2 for me to win 1 up.

Everyone played pretty well on the day and thanks again Pete and Stu for the company.

    Stableford results were

    Ping Jnr 41
    3oneday 37
    PingLauncher 36
    Burger 33

I was 4 over after 14 holes with 9 pars and a bird, and was 4 down

Young fella played well, demo'ing new drivers should be outlawed

Thanks guys, great company, course was good considering how wet and we didn't chop it, which is always nice
